Andrew Telford

Andrew Telford is the resident partner in the firm’s Whitsunday office which, as from January 2007, operates from modern new premises in the Whitsunday Business Centre. The new premises has contributed to an expansion in Andrew’s practice and that of the Whitsunday office generally. The office is accessible with abundant car parking and there is a lift which means that, those who need to, can avoid stairs.

Andrew is from a cane farming family and was born and raised in Proserpine. He practised law in Proserpine for many years and has since 2000 had an office in Airlie Beach. Andrew has the benefit of being a hands on local solicitor and can empathise with the local people as well as people from outside the region. Clients can benefit from Andrew’s local experience as well as the personal relationships that he has within the Whitsunday area.

Andrew was admitted as a solicitor in 1991 and has had extensive experience in general practice including general litigation and criminal law. The property boom in the Whitsunday area has caused Andrew to concentrate his practice in commercial areas and in particular property and development. Andrew is married to Rachelle and he has two sons being Jack born in 2005 and Mitchell born in 2007, and one daughter Abby born in 2009.
