In appreciation to our Clients for their support over the last century, we commend the Foundation to the people of Mackay and surrounding districts and are greatly heartened by their acceptance of this initiative.

Foundation Newsletters
On the 1st July, 1995, our firm celebrated its centenary. As a mark of its thanks to the people of Mackay and sign of respect for Fred MacNish, Vince Macrossan, Bill Amiet and Stan Amiet, and to perpetuate their memory, the ‘Macrossan & Amiet Foundation’ was announced.In the time since its conception our firm has donated over $AUD140,000 to this Foundation.
Donations
The Trustees are most grateful to the number of donors who have made generous donations to the Foundation through the years and encourage everyone to consider making a donation to the Foundation for its worthy cause. In particular, if each of Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors clients donated the sum of $10.00 every year, the fund would grow in excess of $25,000.00 each year. No administration costs are met from the capital of the Foundation and are met by the legal firm Macrossan & Amiet.All donations to the Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation are tax deductible.

Any charities wishing to make a submission for the next financial year may telephone the Secretary, Mr Damian Carroll on (07) 4944 2000 for further information.All charities who apply for a distribution from the Foundation must be endorsed as an income tax exempt charity and as a deductible gift recipient to be eligible for a grant of funds pursuant to the Trust Deed of the Macrossan & Amiet Foundation. All eligible submissions will be considered by the Trustees at their next annual meeting to be held in July/August.
