Mark Jenvey embarked on a career in law after having served in the Queensland Police Service for 13 and a half years - first in general duties then as a police prosecutor before becoming a detective.
He travelled extensively while in the police service, from Coolangatta to Thursday Island including six years in the Whitsundays where he met his wife Dima, who grew up on a cane farm just outside Proserpine.
After resigning from the police service, Mark commenced two years of articles with a Gold Coast firm. Mark then completed his articles before moving into the Property Group with a large national law firm in Brisbane.
Mark later moved to Mackay and starting work for Macrossan & Amiet Solicitors in March 2006.
Mark's brother is a managing partner for a large law firm and this had a positive influence on his choice.
Now, Mark specialises in the areas of property and commercial law and prides himself on his ability to relate to people at all different levels, always striving for a positive outcome for his clients.
He also works in the areas of local government and planning and environment law.
When not at work, Mark loves spending time with his wife and two young sons. He also enjoys a game of rugby - nowadays from the sidelines - and also enjoys fishing and a cold beer.
